Kindness Begins With Me - Marching

I arranged a bunch of red sheets of construction paper in a large circle around the room. I included a couple of gold sheets of construction paper in the mix.

I had all the children stand up and stand on a square and march in a circle while we sang the song.

When the song ended, I asked the children who were standing on the gold squares to share an experience when they did something kind for someone or when someone else did something kind to them.

We repeated the song and marched around the circle a few more times, stopping when the song ends and sharing experiences of kindness.
